Simcountry is a game I would recommend playing. It is unique, involved, and certainly challenging. The learning curve won't be traversed overnight, but the rewards are worth it. The GMs are constantly working to improve the game, upgrading existing features and adding new ones based off player feedback. Besides, where else will you get the chance to be the leader of your own empire, own hundreds of corporations, and storm across the globe with your armies?
Simcountry has something for everyone. You can play peacefully and amass great wealth, or you can play on the edge and become a warlord. You can run a single country as a president and micromanage or have a multi-country empire that deals with the grand scale. Not to mention the option to play an enterprise as the CEO (investing in corporations across the globe) - or all of the above.

A good game from the start, few bugs that can be over-looked. However vaugely worded Terms of Agreement and favortism towards certain groups/players kills the game. Pay-to-Play after the first 30 days, with a system that almost requires you to pay for the "Boosts" avalible. IMO this game is a money trap, and a waste of time and money.

This game gets better every year. It is very addictive. When you start a country all the old players will help you (if you ask) and not attack unless you attack them first. There are 4 worlds with 1 being devoted to wariors if you like battle.
There are no Orcs. No spacecraft. This is like real life. A little diplomacy, maybe a little war now and then if you choose, federations to join, common markets to trade with, and a good time for all.
