This is the best virtual strategy game i ever come on.

This game is brilliant, if you dont like playing solo, than get in an allaince, it requires a lot of stratergy and not just the guy with the biggest army wins neccaserrily, the routes are all very finely balenced for different styles of play and if you go down the right route you will stand a very good chance as a solo. The ticks are just the right length, 10 minutes, plenty of time to co-ordinate attacks and not so long as to be boring.

I started playing bushtarion a couple of months ago, I was instantly addicted to it. Plus, I had the fortune of joining a top 15 alliance with a top 10 NAP. So I had plenty of protection and was never beaten down. Buy acres, grow plants, plant plants, sell the excess plants, buy an army, attack, defend. It looks so simple but, it is extremly complicated for the first couple of weeks, then you will start catchin' on. Play this game and lose your life. Hahah, just kiddin', But as many have said this game IS addicting, the forums are nice as well. Play Bushtarion you will not regret it.

I ACTUALLY AM playing solo, and I'm in the top 100, and have been solo all round (what's the chance everyone tries to find my account now?) ... The rewards can be a bit annoying, especially since SF has now moved over to this one, others in my house are voting for that one instead... and you don't even need to vote for SF, clicking the link gets your reward... bushtarion only gives you your reward if you (or someone else with the page open at the same time) votes for it...



This one is THE best online game I've ever played... does anyone who wants to complain not think there's a reason it's first (since almost every game gives rewatds out - there must be something else good players, and great fun!)

Firstly, Charlie is right, the daily bonus represents 144th of your income in 24 hours. It's hardly amazing, I myself barely bother to vote.



Bushtarion itself has a very steep learning curve, and it has evolved greatly since I began to play over a year ago. I suspect this may make it harder to pick up than I found it. However, once you have familiarised yourself with the basics, take a look at the page in the manual showing (rough) unit stats and what they target, and you can instantly see where the strategy comes into it. I have played many a passtime in this vein, but never found one quite so addictive as this one



With regards to playing solo, it's probably not the best way to play as a newbie, but it is a viable option , especially once you have mastered the basics of bushtarion.

Yeah, the bonuses are amazing... if you voted 144 times (thats voting for nearly 5 months solid) you'd earn the equivalent of 1 day's income. If you want to complain about a game it helps if you start off rationally...



Aside from that, yes it's quite a hard game. Most people get zeroed quite a lot (as with just about every other smiilar game i've ever played), and it used to be hard to play solo. However, thanks to a highly active and dynamic admin team, who consult with the playerbase all the time, new rules and changes are always beign brought in to balance things up.



That's the biggest strength of the game imo - it's always evolving and improving to become a better game. Smart, active Admin and a good community are things which make any online game strong, and Bush provides both.

The main page of this game should say: "Welcome to Bushtarion, Bend over and prepare to take it in the rear".

The ONLY reason this game has such a high number of votes is that you get such good in-game rewards for voting.

Now, keep in mind that I *AM* trying to play solo. I'm sure the game is GREAT if you're in a nice supportive alliance. But if you're not, prepare to be smacked HARD by such alliances.

I could go into a long rant about the lack of ANY strategic thought in this game.. How everything is about swarming the other guy to beat the combat system.. But it's not worth the effort...

So yeah. I just had to say something to balance all the positive comment suck-ups here... Now I'll go back to playing Bushtarion: BOHICA, which, in all fairness, is rather addicting.. (Disturbing thought..)

Maybe the sequel will be better.. Bushtarion: SNAFU.

this game is the best online game i've ever seen!it's all about making armies and attacking people or defending them,you can join alliances and crush enemies with your force of troops!

it's also about getting aces(land!) and stocking seeds and growing them on your land

it all sounds complicated at first but on every page of bushtarion is a help button so you know what to do.

basically THE BEST ONLINE GAME EVER!!!!! if anyone thinks this game is rubbish then they are confused!

The best online game i have ever played.

no doubt the best net game i have played, it is well run and i have encountered no problems with playing it. it is great fun and i cant stop playin it, if you join try and get your mates in aswell cos it is so much better. + the guys who run it are doin a great job and always keep to promises unlike other games.

Bushtarion is one of those games that you think "Wow, this is really confusing" yet after playing for a week or so you begin to lead towards "woah, that was so obvious, I wonder why I never thought if it before!" I've played 3 rounds of bush, know a lot of people, and can honestly say it is one of the best games I've ever played. It tends to suck up your social life though, so fair warning ;)

my thoughts were "another text based game" and thats still what i think, personally i dont see how this got to number one, it seem rather boring, and alot of crap to do. it reminded me of streetwarz, where you use all your turns, and then have to wait for new ones, and find out the next day, all your earnings you did the day before have either been ripped off, or killed. i come from plays bots II for about 3 years, which puts this game to crap. but again, i dont like tick-based games.

Ok, you see this and you think.. wow just another text based game

i started playing one day and i am now hooked.. this is my 3rd week playing and almost end of the round

but its awsome you get so hooked so easily... it gets interesting with the change of weather patterns for each month its like they have their own built in weather system.

This game was invented very nicely.

10/10 .. all the way to the top.

This is, by far the best online game I've played. It has the most balanced routes, of any game i've seen leading to fantastic gameplay and fun within a good community.

The games awesome and challenging

In my eyes, Bushtarion would be classed as one of the most addictive games ever - even surpassing that of Championship Manager.



The tech routes themselves are finely balanced, and full stats on them are never released - it's all up to the players to find out the route and units which suit them best, and the best combos to effectively neutralise your enemy.



Warning - if you don't want to get addicted to a brilliant game, then stay away!

this is awesome game. when first time i saw that i thougt its tupid but later my friend told me what to do and now i am stuck in this game. i've never seen that good game

It's a good game, It's interesting, and make you addict. You Should PLAY IT!

This game is verygood and i would give it a 99.9 out of 100

greatest internet game ever! My freind first lead me to it and i have continue dplaying ever since... I have gone all routes (or at least one side of them) and it is very exciting... great gameplay, great setup and Forums are fun and interesting... We should all praise the Admin for making such a great game!

A friend recommended me to Bushtarion. After a bit of trouble with spelling (where is bushtarian?) I got started off with the game.



I quickly began to enjoy it, with the opportunity to get some interesting opportunities from Day 1 - what shall I plant? What should I make?



Unfortunately, the game has a sharp learning curve- at first, I did not understand battles orhow weather works. I give one suggestion: READ THE TUTORIAL! It gives you a good step-by-step guide.... helpful from Day 1.



After the initial, comparatively easy period where you are safe from attack, life gets harder. Land comes surprisingly cheap - in a week you could get over 1000 acres.... but armies are expensive, and won't get much cheaper if you want to stay safe.



Onto the point of armies; pretty early in the game you should decide on a development route. They are extremely well-balanced - but I would avoid the Robotics route for your first round. They greatly vary in price at the start, however they will balance out eventually.



Bushtarion is a harsh game - if your land even tilts above the standard for your score (army size also), various enemies will leap to the opportunity to swallow you whole. I reckon I spent two weeks growing big then being beaten down again.



It's so much about trial and error - first round you'll be experimenting, and the next round you can really go for the high-scores!



The thing that makes it great is strategy. TRUE strategy. Your job is to lead your company to the perfect balance of strength and economy.... it's just about the perfect game in my opinion.



P.S. I am not a harsh person. Do not flame me PLEASE. I just like a good, long opinion.

It`s a lovely game! I have never had so fun before with a game! Bushtarion 4 ever!

I started playing the game sometime last month, and I've noticed that it grows on you :D At first it was just a game, and I really didn't care all that much about the outcome of a battle, but now I'm so into it, I've even joined an alliance, It's a comunity that looks out for you, defends you, and helps you along the way with great advice. Very Interactive,It's a lot of fun and I recommend it for everyone.

The forums on the other hand are a bit lame.

I've been playing this game for a long time.



The game has always been good.

And the forums have always stunk.



But sometimes you can find usefull information there, so it's worth checking out once in a while.

Just skim through, bearing in mind the average poster is about 14 years old.
