Merchant Empires

I joined Merchant Emprires at the end of Last Round (like 3 weeks). The game was in full play and the Major Alliances in bitter war. I was immediately taken to this Game, for its simplicity to control, the complexity of the trade system and overall the theme it carries.



I think in most of the Games that I have been playing I always have preferred being the Trader, in a well equipped Spaceship, with lots of Cargo bays, and some really nice Weaponry to come in handy when to fight of a couple rogue Pirates. ME, is giving all this to me, and much more.



While Privateer and Elite are single Player games, on your PC, this one here promotes team efforts. While you can survive on your own, you really get to prosper and use all the features of the game when you join an Alliance. Together you Upgrade the Trade ports (Hey try to haul 30000 Units of Ore by yourself with 250 units cargo hold, or do it in a team of 10 players) Secure your alliance sectors with mine fields, and go hunting for your enemies.

One great thing is that once you are on a Base you can jump ships and transfer from a Trader into a Hunter (lest you can pilot one) in mere seconds.



5 Races with all their Specifics and different Shiptypes clash or act in Harmony in this fun and exiting game.

Big advice for starters (newbies) do not burn your newbie turns with out knowing what you do, do not build a base right away, and contact an alliance to train you. You wont regret it. promised.

This game has come a long way since it was created and its by far one of the best games i've ever played. Hoever not so much the game but the player base surrounding it is one of the most friendliest ive seen with every player pitching in to help new players grasp the basics and complexities of the game.

One of the BEST free online games on the net...the votes may not show it but its an addicting game that requires patience, but either way its a fun game

I gotta say...ME is THE best free online game I've played! ME just has it all...diversity, comraderie, size, playability...you name it. I was playin other games along with ME...but now ME is all I even play! You'll love this game!

You could not have found yourself a better browserbased space game than this one.

You can trade, you can fight, you can build a base up, you can maintain an area of planets and make a fortune.. You name it, they rate it!

This game is so indepth and realistic its frightening. Its a browser based game that really gives you the feel of being the merchant you choose to be. From alliance building to trading to fighting to laying defences to building bases this game has it all, and each part of the game goes so far into detail theres a whole universe of things to be done and be doing. Well worth a look.
