Plus, if you become a guardian (you just have to do a one time dontation of 12$ to the site:D)you will get new armors spells weapons and get access to the Guardian Tower where they sell strong weapons, armors and even horses to ride on!!!:p this game is awsome!!!:p plus, in the guardian tower they can refill your health and mana potions for free and strengthen your weapons:D plus, every week they have the "Blade of Awe" Drawing for guardians the "Blade of Awe" is the strongest weapon in Adventure Quest:D:D:D Try this game out!!! it's the best RPG online game EVER!!!

Not much to say that hasn't already been said. Adventure Quest has to be one of the most addicting, fun, and all around greatest on-line game that you will ever likely come across. Tons of different weapons, armors, shields, spells, and pets await you, and new items are being added every week!
The game itself plays like most of the old Final Fantasies, with you battling one or more monsters at a time, each taking turns to either attack with weapons or spells, or to use potions to heal your health or mana. You can also change any of your equipment at any time during all battles, giving you greater flexibility to fight enemies as you wish.
The staff is always around and is polite if you need a question answered or just want to compliment on the game. The forums are alive with friendly and helpful players who answer questions with politeness. It is one of the friendliest atmospheres I have ever been in.
There is always something to do in the game, usually some big monster hunt or some other small quest or adventure to go on. We just recently ended a war where we fought endless tides of fire monsters, eventually winning over the evil Drakkonan.
In short, if your looking for a great game that you can pick up and play any time, then Adventure Quest is for you!

This game is spectacular! With every new thing released, the staff constantly try to out do themselves. This game is player friendly for people of all ages, and has something for every gamer; whether you like to go on quests and figure out puzzles, or constantly adventure and become the best. You place all your own stats via trainers. Want to be a warrior? Pour all your stats into Endurance and Strength so you can take hits all day. Or will you rely on magic? Summon a flaming skull to attack with you, or a pixie to heal you, as you cast spell after devastating spell.
This game has hundreds of weapons each with its own unique attacks and specials, beautiful spells that can do massive damage, and animal companions that you can learn to control. The staff is constantly putting out new quests and items. There are many big things planned, and the staff hasn’t let us down yet.
What are you waiting for?!

I've been playing various online games for years now and, without a doubt, AQ is the most entertaining, player friendly, lasting, detailed and, basically, the best of the lot.
The staff are great and are constantly adding new things, so the game never gets old. New weapons, armours, spells, etc are being added all the time; from strong ones for high level players and cheaper ones for people new to the game, variations of each for different kinds of characters too.
Speaking of which, the range of characters you can build is amazing, each different stat being built up as you train them, allowing you complete control over how your character develops. If you want to specialise in magic but still be a strong fighter you can concentrate on your strength and intellect, or if you just want to be almost impossible to kill you can train up your dexterity and enduruance just as easily, or simply train everything equally.
There's also a huge community, tens if not hundreds of thousands of players from all over the world you can talk to in the forums or the chat room, many of whom are experienced players and happy to help with any of your questions, plus the forum is full of handy FAQs to fill you in on anything you might need to know.
Not to mention the events that take place constantly, ranging from huge wars to monster hunts and more so there's always something to do no matter how long you've been playing.
This is the best free game you'll ever find, if you're not playing yet you're missing out.

This game is really great, the only reason why it is low down in the rankings (at the time of this post) is that the creator of the game is so uncompetitive (with the number of people that play the game he doesn't need to be competitive). In fact, the only way i found my way to this site was by someone posting on the forums. The community is great and the staff are constantly interacting with the players and will always liste to player suggestions. Now to the game, it is great, with hundreds of enemies and loads of weapons, shields, armors, spells and pets.
The enemies you encounter change as you rise through the levels and increase in power both naturally and by stat boosts: paying gold to a trainer to train a certain aspect of your character which increases their power.
There are wars walk-around quest bonus weapons and loads of stuff i have probably forgotten (in a rush you see).
Basically, if you click the link you will not regret it.
